I thought so too. It looks kinda like muscle tissue. I don't want to sound all full of myself, but after I was finished with this, I was like "yeah, this is SO going on my wall"... makes me strong through all this shit going on right now. I even made it big enough to make it as a canvas & get it framed.

Very strong image, even a bit disturbing but that's what it should be. The hints of white resemble scar tissue which seems appropriate to the title of your work. Love it!
